Here’s the one thing to know about how we work, because it’s the thing most agencies get backwards. We build sites you can actually edit yourself.
That sounds obvious. It isn’t. The standard playbook hands a client a beautiful site that’s also a locked box. Every change, a new hero image, a reordered section, a landing page for next quarter’s campaign, routes back through the agency. You file a ticket, you wait, you get an invoice. The agency calls that a retainer. We call it a hostage situation.
So we build differently. Daylit sites run on WordPress with ACF flexible content, which is a mouthful, so here’s the translation. Think Lego, not a poured-concrete slab. Instead of one fixed page we cast and then can’t touch, you get a set of pre-built blocks (a testimonial, a stats row, a two-column story, a call to action) and you snap them together however you want, in whatever order, as many times as you need. The design holds no matter how you stack them, because the blocks are built to hold. You don’t break anything. You don’t call us. You just build the page.
Why does that matter to you specifically? Because you’re the one who has to forward this site to your CEO and feel proud, then keep it alive for three years without a developer babysitting every word change. WordPress still runs something like 40% of the web, so when you eventually hand it to someone else, they’ll know it cold. No proprietary platform, no lock-in, no “well, that’s a custom build, we’d have to quote you.” It’s yours.
We’ve shipped this way for clients like a few long-standing clients, and it’s the part they actually thank us for a year later, long after they’ve forgotten what the homepage looked like on launch day.
