Invent Penn State
A whole web footprint, under one roof.
Invent Penn State is the university's innovation and entrepreneurship hub, and its presence online was not one site — it was many. Twenty-two WordPress sites on a single server: a large multisite of production and staging installs, plus more alongside it.
We managed all of them, and built several from scratch — the sites behind the programs, from a startup accelerator to a global entrepreneurship week.
We own the build, and the boxes it runs on.
Not just the code. The server, the databases, the domains, the patching, the recovery plan — the whole stack, run by the same studio that built what sits on top of it. When one team owns both, nothing falls through the seam between "the site" and "the server."
Twenty-two sites, one standard.
The hard part of managing that many sites is not any one of them. It is keeping them consistent — the same care, the same structure, the same reliability — so an innovation hub reads as one place, not twenty-two.
